About Us
Schrute Farms was established in 2017 and located in Southwest Virginia. My name is Christy Morrison, I am a wife and mother of three beautiful daughters. My love for dogs began at an early age and when I landed my first job at a veterinary clinic, I knew I’d found my calling. Once my children got older I was able to have my first litter of poodle puppies. I never imagined just how much love I could have for this journey nor the bonds I would create with so many wonderful people. Next came the story of Rhino. The little Scottie with issues requiring surgery that needed me. The relationship we built showed me that this little almost extinct breed had its own place here at Schrute Farms. I have found my purpose ❤️

Happy, Healthy Bloodline
At Schrute Farms, we put all of our dogs through extensive testing to ensure a healthy litter is born. Our pregnant and nursing moms are given vitamins and other supplements along with elaborate meals to help fatten up those growing babies.This allows us to offer a one year health guarantee on all of our puppies.
A Forever Friend
We strive to match each owner with the perfect puppy for their family. We want this not only to be a new family member but your new best friend. Our puppies fit many lifestyles. Some accompany their owners to work while others make great couch potatoes! Many of our puppies have even went on to be service dogs.

This part should be easy but puppies are a lot of work. We ask our owners to be patient and consistent. Lifetime support from us comes with every puppy.
The Beginning
All puppies at Schrute Farms are born in my bedroom. I keep a very keen eye on them their whole lives, but more intently for the first 4 weeks. That includes watching them on our web camera anytime I’m away from home.
At 4 weeks of age, the puppies are moved into our living room. Here they experience new sights and sounds. They are also introduced to a litter box! We want to start a good foundation with house training for new moms and dads.
